She turned her head around and faced the side of his head with a shy look. She opened her mouth just a little but quickly closed it, looking down at her thigh again. She kept hearing buttons clicking from the remote control Germany had in his hand. He was leaning his cheek against his palm, looking very bored and probably not even paying any attention on the television as he flicked through different channels. Liechtenstein has been staying with Germany and Prussia for a while now, a couple of weeks before her brother went to war, he made them in charge of her until he comes back. And at Germany's house, things were pretty boring and way too quiet but sometimes, Austria and Hungary used to come and visit, as well as Italy and his brother Romano. Prussia wasn't really home either, he usually came home at night time but he mostly stayed home.
She sank her back against the sofa and rocked her legs back and forth, one hand over the other on her thigh as she looked around. Germany turned off the television and layed his head back, turning it and looked at her. 'Vould you like anything to eat?' She jumped at the sound of his voice. 'N-No thank you, Ludwig.' She replied very quietly, she couldn't help but sound nervous as she spoke to him. 'Anything to drink then?'
'I-I'm fine.' She lifted her head up and tilt it to the side with a shakey sort of smile. His face flashed out a pinkish colour and looked away, staring at the ceiling. The silence was heavy for a while, Liechtenstein stared at Germany before coping every movement he made and didn't even realize it. He sighed and letted his head drop; she did the same which got his attention. He looked at her from the corner of his eye and ran his hand across his hair, she did the same. He turned his head just in time to catch her and crossed his arms. 'Vhat are you doing?' He asked. She sat up straight, feeling chills against her back and goosebumps through her long sleeves. 'O-Oh! I-I'm s-sorry, Ludwig. I'm just-' Liechtenstein stopped in track as she shut her eyes and re-opened them to look up at Germany who had a small smile acorss his face and hand placed on the top of Liechtenstein's head. She blinked and watched him sigh. 'You are bored, I know.'
'I just wish there would be something to entertain us-' She met his eyes, not moving, just staring deep into them, making the ocean mixed with her green eyes and then it hit her so suddenly which made her look back down at herself. She gripped two fingers onto his sleeve, shaking it. 'Vhat is it?'
'H-How do we say, "I love you" in German, Ludwig?'
'Have you probably forgotten? Ve say "Ich liebe dich." Vhy?' She held her fingers tightly against her dress and looked down, dropping her hair onto her face to hide that rosey colour all over her face. Her eyes were sparkling, it looked like she was about to cry. Germany took away his hand to lay it on his thigh and looked at her in curiousity. She stared at him from her eye corner; she begun to shiver again. Her face heating up. She looked further away and drowned her face down into her palms, whispering very softly. 'I-Ich l-liebe dich, L-Ludwig...' She shook her face slowly and shutted her eyes tightly. Liechtenstein didn't see Germany's expression but he was flashed; staring wide eyed, he covered his mouth and turned his head in every direction, face turning as red as her's. He actually seemed embarrassed. 'I thought it was time that I finally told you.' Germany wasn't good at those sort of things but he somehow managed to reach up his hand, placing it on top of her's and holding it tightly while with the other, he pulled onto her shoulder and held her close to him, feeling her head snuggling against his chest. He stroked her arm and slide down to her waist. 'Ich liebe dich auch.'
